Jim Dixon President/Chief Executive Officer Jim Dixon was named president and chief executive officer of HealthSHARE in April 2008. He comes to HealthSHARE from Louisiana, where he served as the Gulf Coast director for Amerinet and as the liaison for SupportHealth, a five-state strategic marketing affiliate. Amerinet serves as the sole endorsed group purchasing organization for the state hospital associations of Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida. Dixon has an extensive background in health care operations and group purchasing. He is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology and holds a master’s degree in business from Louisiana State University. | |

Brian C. Stevens Vice President, Marketing Brian Stevens was named vice president, marketing, in 2007, after serving as regional marketing executive for North Texas for more than two years. Previously he was with THA-endorsed company The MHA Group, the nation’s largest and leading provider of clinical health care staffing and physician search, where he was responsible for the development and management of the Texas territory. Stevens also has experience in health care sales and marketing, as well as technology and financial services. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Wilfrid Laurier University, Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. | |

Fred Hamilton Vice President, THA Retirement Plan Fred Hamilton joined the Texas Hospital Association in September 1991 as director of the THA Retirement Plan for THA’s insurance subsidiary, Texas Hospital Insurance Network. He moved to HealthSHARE in September 2000 with the transfer of THINK’s employee benefit programs, and is responsible for the overall management and administration of the THA Retirement Plan. Prior to joining THA, he worked as a retirement planning consultant, and a senior trust officer for a local Texas-based financial institution. Hamilton holds a degree in mathematics from The University of Texas at Austin. | |

Mike H. Payne, FLMI Vice President, Insurance Programs Mike Payne joined the Texas Hospital Association in January 1992 as director of insurance service for THA’s insurance subsidiary, Texas Hospital Insurance Network. He was named vice president of marketing and communication in 1993, and moved to HealthSHARE in September 2000 with the transfer of THINK’s insurance programs. Prior to joining THA, he was regional vice president for CSRG, a company that places contract employees in various insurance organizations. He holds the Fellow, Life Management Institute designation and is a licensed Texas health and property/casualty insurance agent. | |

Vicki Dale Regional Marketing Executive, North Texas Vicki Dale joined HealthSHARE in January 2008 as the regional executive for North Texas. Prior to joining HealthSHARE, she spent 16 years as a marketing director for various health care software companies that provided EMR and other IT solutions to hospitals and physicians. Her marketing experience prior to health care was with GTE/Verizon and environmental consulting. Dale grew up in San Angelo, and attended Texas Tech University and The University of Texas at Arlington. | |

Al Goforth Regional Marketing Executive, West Texas Al Goforth joined HealthSHARE in April 2007 as the regional executive for West Texas. He brings a unique background to this position—16 years in the pharmaceutical industry and four years in financial services. Goforth is a native Texan, a graduate of Texas Tech University, and a Lubbock resident for more than 30 years. | |

Heidi B. Skelton Pension Administration Specialist Heidi Skelton has been with Texas Hospital Association since 1990, and moved to HealthSHARE in September 2000 with the transfer of THINK’s employee benefit programs. As pension administrator, she coordinates and works closely with professional organizations to support the day-to-day activities of the THA Retirement Plan. She works closely with employees to help them understand and appreciate the retirement benefits provided by their hospital. Skelton attended Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State University) and has been in the retirement and employee benefits field since 1982. | |

Barbara Lockerman Barbara Lockerman joined the HealthSHARE team in 2010 as senior director, financial services. She brings to HealthSHARE more than 10 years of for-profit affiliate and association management experience. She spends the majority of her time performing research and due diligence on companies seeking endorsement by the Texas Hospital Association, and monitoring the company’s financial activities. Barbara maintains the certified association executive designation and holds a BBA from University of Texas at Arlington. | |

JoAnn Soto Sr. Specialist, Marketing and Project Development JoAnn Soto joined HealthSHARE in 2002 as executive secretary, and was named specialist of marketing in 2006. She spends the majority of her time maintaining the HealthSHARE Web site and product sheets, and coordinating the mailing of marketing letters. She also directs the distribution of the quarterly Sharing newsletter. Soto is a graduate of Johnston High School in Austin. | |

Yvonne Hernandez Yvonne Hernandez, senior coordinator, is the first person guests see when they step out of the elevator into the lobby on the sixth floor of the Texas Hospital Association headquarters and helps the HealthSHARE staff with their administrative work. She previously served as an executive assistant in the high-tech industry. |
