We’re pleased to announce that Vicki Dale has joined HealthShare/THA as regional executive for North Texas. Vicki has more than 16 years of experience in the health care field, marketing software to physicians and hospitals. She previously worked for a company endorsed by HealthShare and, in that position, went through our due diligence process and understands how that works.
“This position felt natural for me,” Vicki says. “I already knew the team. I understand what HealthShare/THA is trying to do, how thorough they are, and how hard they work for hospitals. I live in this area and am familiar with working with hospitals.” She has spent her first few months introducing herself to hospitals in the area, and while she will represent all of HealthShare/THA’s endorsed companies, she is especially interested in helping identify cutting-edge technology companies to add to our portfolio. Married with an 11-year-old daughter, Vicki enjoys traveling, reading, and the outdoors and is active in her church.
Regional executives are an important part of our ongoing efforts to better serve Texas hospitals. Give Vicki a call if you have any questions or needs that we can address. She is based in Grapevine and can be reached at 214/770-5248 or vdale@tha.org.

PROFILES
The links between customer satisfaction, loyalty, and profitability are well-established, as is the link between employee satisfaction and customer satisfaction. According to research cited by Press Ganey, a high level of satisfaction will lead to greatly increased customer loyalty, and increased customer loyalty is the single most important driver of long-term financial performance. Satisfied patients will return, and positive word of mouth from satisfied patients will bring in new patients. In fact, if patients who rated their experience an average Fair or Good on a survey can be moved up to rating it an average Good or Very Good, that equates to $2.3 million in annual revenue from additional repeat customers, the company reports. For more information on patient loyalty and how it can pay, visit pressganey.com, or call Tracy Wilson at 800/816-9504.

Sustaining Change
American Healthcare Solutions, a consulting firm endorsed by HealthShare/THA, assists hospitals with reorganization efforts. In one recent effort, the company helped identify more than $12 million in cost-reduction and revenue-enhancement opportunities, ultimately creating a one-page plan with profitable growth as a major focus of the re-org along with ten measurable goals, each championed by an executive team. Accessible to all members of the team via a web-based system, the plan incorporated three guidelines for how the team would operate: set and keep priorities, make fast decisions for go/continue/no-go, and communicate actively and effectively. Measurable monthly goals and the actions required to achieve annual goals were also established.
