New leadership is often a catalyst for growth and positive change, a means to achieve even better performance. That is my goal with recent changes in leadership at HealthShare/THA. On August 27, I announced to staff that HealthShare/THA is moving into THA's Member Relations Division to better align products and services to meet the needs of members. An new senior vice president to lead this area currently is being recruited. A nationwide search for a new executive for HealthShare/THA has been launched as well.
In the interim, Brian Stevens, vice president of marketing for HealthShare/THA, is overseeing operations. I have notified the THA Board of Trustees, HealthShare/THA board and affiliated business partners of these developments. Everyone is working to make the transition as smooth as possible. Vicki Pascasio, FACHE, joined the HealthShare/THA staff in 1989 and was appointed CEO in 2002. She made many contributions to HealthShare/THA and to THA over the years, and we are all appreciative of her contributions.
